Tell Your Time Where to Go with Time Blocking
I hope you enjoyed learning about the 168 Hour Mindset in yesterday’s challenge post. But now that you have all that time in your week, how will you get the most important things done? The answer is time blocking.
Print out this blank time blocking weekly schedule and start with your priorities.
What has to get done this week? A job? Homeschooling? Volunteer activities? Stick it on the calendar.
Now, don’t leave yourself for last. Go ahead and block in a time this week to work on your weekly tasks that will build into your monthly & quarterly & yearly goals that we wrote down in previous days in our Productivity Challenge.
Don’t finish the week without working toward your goals. The only way to be successful with this is to block in time on your calendar and stick to it. Treat it as an appointment – no interruptions, no excuses for missing it.
Take Action
Take five minutes right now and download this time blocking schedule and fill in all your weekly commitments, jobs, and tasks. Do you have time left over? Great! Relax, take time for yourself, or if you’re really motivated, keep working toward your goals.
Come back to the Productivity Challenge tomorrow to learn how to delegate to your team – you don’t have to do it all!
