The traditional education system does not naturally encourage innovation or a love of learning. Furthermore, many times curiosity is “schooled out” of children. To accommodate grading, the curriculum is more factual and critical thinking is left behind.
However, this doesn’t have to characterize your homeschool!
A love of knowledge is the best motivation for learning.
Here are 3 things to consider when motivating your homeschooled kids:
- the atmosphere or environment (where or how you school)
- the discipline of habit
- the presentation of ideas
