EPISODE #44: Systems
Join the 25 Day Productivity Challenge and get actionable steps to help you move toward your goals! This podcast episode explores the way your personality will keep you stagnant or moving toward your goals – and what you can do about it!
What are Systems
Systems are just the processes you put in place to make tasks automatic. You don’t want to have to think about how to do tasks, you want to be able to accomplish them without much effort.
You probably have systems in place for many things in your life already without realizing it – like brushing your teeth or getting ready in the morning!
Now your job is to take the things that are not getting done well in your home and create systems for them so that they do get done!
Automation
Which tasks need to have systems created? Here are a few common ones:
- chores
- homeschool schedules & tasks
- homeschool paperwork
- groceries
- laundry
Apply It
Now it’s your turn to take action.
- Brainstorm a list of tasks in your home that need systems.
- Choose the top one that will make the most impact on your home & start there
- Set up the system & teach your kids or whoever else is involved with how to make it happen
